Thursday, April 30th, 2015

As part of the 2015 Agritech Conference and  Exhibition, 4 professional tour options will be organized on April 30, 2015. Participation in the tours will be available for a registration fee of $60 and will be based on a first-come, first-served policy.
If space becomes available, on-site registration will be possible in Hall 10.

Please note that tours with less than 10 participants registered will be cancelled. We may refer you to another tour with available space otherwise a full refund will be issued.

Tour Option # 1 - Dairy Farming

08:30    Departure Tel Aviv Fairgrounds to Sion – Artificial Insemination Center: Meet the CEO
            and Chief Scientist. (Hafetz Haim)
11:00    Feed Center – Beer Tuvia
12:30    Dairy Farm (450 cows) owned jointly by 3 families (Beer Tuvia) (SCR)
14:00    Lunch
15:30    Kibbutz owned Dairy Farm – Dorot (Afimilk)
17:00    Return to Tel Aviv

Tour Option #  4 - Vegatables under protected conditions

08:30-10:00      Moshav, Beit Ezra, Growing tomatoes in greenhouses for long term production , using grafted
10:30 – 11:30    Nurseries, growing seedling of vegetables.
12:15 – 13:00    Ein-Habesor, growing fresh herbs and leafy crops, harvesting & Packaging
13:15 – 14:00    Lunch                
14:45 – 16:00    Mop Darom - Regional Experimental station, an overview on researches of vegetables & flowers
                        under various protected condition, technologies of greenhouses and net houses.
16:15 –17:00     Tour an overview in region, the main protected area for vegetable production in Israel. 
19:00                Estimated arrival to Tel - Aviv

Tour Option # 5 - Poultry Integration (layers, broilers, feed mill and more).

 Automate climate controlled layer house (100,000) at moshav Ramot Hashavim
10:30-11:30     Feed Mill including pelleting and extrusion at Emek Hefer
12:30-13:30     Lunch at Maagan Michael
13:30-14:00     Broiler Farm houses at Maagan Michael
14:00-16:00     Fish value chain (ponds, nursery and unique technologies) at Maagan Michael
